Vintage Pictures was established in 2011 by producers Hlín Jóhannesdóttir and Birgitta Björnsdóttir.  Vintage´s portfolio consists of documentaries, shorts and features, such as 2017´s The Swan which had it´s premiere at Toronto International Film Festival, 2013´s This is Sanlitun (premiered also at TIFF),  and 2016´s Pale Star and A Reykjavík Porno both premiering at Edinburgh International Film Festival. Vintage also co-produced the US films Land Ho! and Bokeh.

Aside from being a production company, Vintage Pictures is also a servicing company for foreign productions in Iceland.
